I am so glad that he is with the family!!! What an awesome Christmas present for them, although it is a bittersweet moment I am sure. I know that they wanted to visit Dusty and Lex, but this is the next best thing. They now have their son's partner and the last "person" to see their son alive with them. Yay!! Congrats the the family and God bless the Marines for doing the right thing here.

As a U.S. NAVY Veteran and dog trainer, I am so happy for the family. I could not read the story completely without tearing up so, it took awhile to finish. Good Luck to Lex with Cpl. Lee's family. May God be with you all.
I started researching the word Courage for a poetry session with my class of 10 year olds. I found this story and started sobbing like a baby. Lex and his kind go to war without any thought or knowledge of the dangers but give of themselves freely. God Bless you Lex.
For Lee I suspect it was the job he had always wanted and loved. Now one has to say to Obama, bring them home let there be no more tears and no more Lex and Lees separated before their time.
